As principal contractor, we take charge of the construction phase. The site, the trades, safety, and the programme all sit with us, so one team is responsible for getting the build done properly. Bring us in early and we’ll give input at design stage, then make sure the move from build to finishing touches is a smooth one.

New builds
New doesn't have to mean characterless. We build new homes with the same craftsmanship we bring to a period restoration, so they feel settled from the day the keys change hands. Starting from an empty plot or a full demolition, we take the build from groundworks to handover, whether it's a forever home or a development that needs a tightly run programme.
Extensions
A good extension shouldn’t look like an extension. We build around the house that's already there, with materials and detailing that belong, so the new space feels like it was always meant to be. Our extension builders take on everything from single-storey additions to large, multi-level extensions.
Refurbishments
Some of our favourite projects are old houses with stories to tell, and they deserve to be done properly. As refurbishment builders, we take on everything from listed building restoration to complete renovations, using traditional materials and techniques where the house calls for them, keeping the character that makes it special, and quietly bringing the rest up to date.

Our team is small and carefully chosen, and every project has its own site office with a senior team member running it day to day. Each morning starts with a team meeting on site, so quality is checked as the work happens and the build keeps a calm, steady pace.

Numbers you can plan around
Before any work starts, we’ll build a detailed cost plan with our Quantity Surveyor from your tender information. No build is ever completely without surprises, but you start with a far clearer picture of what the build will cost.

HOW WE WORK
The 80/20 approach
Building a home should be enjoyable. This is how we make sure it is.
We've seen it happen many times. The bathroom gets chosen halfway through the build, the fittings are on a long lead time, and the whole site slows down waiting for them. Late decisions cost time and money, and they take the joy out of the project.
So, we turn it round. Before we start on site, we settle 80% of the decisions with our clients: the structure, the systems, and the fittings that need ordering early. Most of it lives behind the walls, out of sight, and handling it well is our job.
The other 20% is where our clients stay fully in control. Paint colours, finishes, the personal touches that make a house a home. Those can wait until the space is taking shape and everyone can see it coming together, with the headspace to enjoy every decision.
That means less decision fatigue, a build that keeps moving, and far less stress along the way. It sits at the heart of how we work.
